ICYMI - December Newsletter from LVL-Up Strategies

A note from LVL-Up's CEO, Rona Jobe

Happy Holidays from our LVL-Up family from around the world! It has been a wild and rollercoaster year at LVL-Up, but I am so thankful for our team and for our clients, colleagues, and friends like you who continue to support and cheer us on every step of the way!

In addition to the launch of our new newsletter last month, I would like to share with you more recent progress in our company.

(1) We launched our new website (same address, different look) - check it out: www.lvlupstrategies.com. An absolutely brand new section on our website is our government support page.

(2) We received our Small, Women, And Minority-owned (SWAM) certification with the state of Virginia!

(3) Last month we moved clients (current and new) off of our wait list and started new projects (after almost six months of focusing on infrastructure)! LVL-Up Strategies is intentional with every new engagement and makes a commitment to every client that we will give them the undivided attention they deserve.

I'm looking forward to finishing out the year strong and I hope you are too! If you need ideas on how to do that or struggling in planning for 2022, let's schedule a call to chat (click here to get on our calendar).

In the meantime, keep this in mind: "Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment." - Oprah.

ICYMI on Our Blog!

Life as an Eligible Family Member (EFM) is full of surprises. You pack up your life every two to three years and embark on an amazing and terrifying journey. What no one tells you about being in the foreign service is that with each move, it is the job of the spouse to start over in the new country. Your partner reports to their new job that he/she was hired and trained to do. Your role is to settle your family into a country that you didn’t know and operate daily life in a language that you barely speak. Accomplishing this while trying to maintain a semblance of a career is like trying to keep all the plates spinning while walking on a floor covered with legos.

But fear not. There are opportunities to maintain a career and explore your passions while as an EFM. Check out our new blog post that gives 5 ways to find meaningful work while serving abroad.

Get Your Pain Points Handled

The new year is coming up. Many of us make resolutions to be better, feel better or make better decisions. Here at LVL-Up, we are asking our clients one question - "what do you not want to do anymore?"It may sound like a silly question but it helps our clients see where they need help.

  • Do you not want to worry about your social media anymore?
  • Do you want to give up the stress of managing your CRM?
  • Do you agonize over creating your next year business plan?

Look at 2022 as an opportunity to focus on solidifying your brand, increasing your sales, and establishing systems for delegation and scale. Here’s to a fresh start where you have a partner at LVL-Up who helps you set appropriate and realistic deadlines and keeps you accountable to meeting them. Start this new year with a clear vision of what you want and what you need help with.
