Rona Jobe Appointed to the Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia Board of Directors
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Arlington, Va. – May 14, 2025 - LVL-Up Strategies proudly announces that CEO and Founder Rona Jobe has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia (GOTR NOVA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
“After being involved as a volunteer and sponsor for several years, I am deeply honored to join the GOTR NOVA board of directors,” said Jobe. “Girls on the Run addresses the increasing mental and physical health challenges young girls face today. This program not only equips them with tools to build their confidence and discover the joy of physical activity, but it also empowers them to thrive in all areas of life.”
“We are excited for Rona to join our Board of Directors after several years of dedicated service and valuable insight on our Associate Board,” said Caroline Woods, Executive Director of Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia. “Her passion for our mission and deep understanding of our work make her a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and empower more girls across the region.”
In 2020, Rona Jobe founded LVL-Up Strategies alongside co-founder Laura Jennings with a dual mission: to deliver exceptional management consulting services and to create meaningful, flexible employment opportunities for military and foreign service spouses. Based in Arlington, Virginia, LVL-Up brings people to their next level by showing them the how, giving them the who, and supporting their why. This mission applies to both its clients and its team members.
“One thing that initially drew me to Girls on the Run was its passion for empowerment and opportunity. This organization helps young girls build a foundation of confidence and resilience, which is not unlike what we do here at LVL-Up,” Jobe said. “We offer military and foreign service spouses—who are predominantly women—the opportunity to create meaningful, sustainable, and flexible employment opportunities by providing consulting services to business owners and leaders. When we work together, we all LVL-Up.”
In her role on the GOTR NOVA board, Jobe will support long-term strategy, contribute to fundraising initiatives, and help amplify GOTR’s core values—intentional decision-making, inclusion, connectedness, and self-advocacy.
